Did you know? Bernard Coffindaffer, a Marine veter Did you know? Bernard Coffindaffer, a Marine veteran and a native of Craigsville, West Virginia, was the man behind the 3  crosses you can spot all over West Virginia. 

The first set of Coffindaffer's crosses was raised along I-79 at Flatwoods, West Virginia, near the very center of West Virginia. Once established, many property owners offered their land to the ministry.
